2021: Hilti Group Acquisition Agreement

Hilti Group, a company in the field of innovative solutions for tools and fasteners, technologies, software and services for the construction industry, on November 16, 2021 entered into an agreement to acquire Fieldwire, a San Francisco-based construction technology company. The value of the transaction amounted to about $300 million. The strategic acquisition will combine Fieldwire's product and the capabilities of the global Hilti brand to help improve the productivity of contractors and construction sites. Fieldwire is a workplace management platform that provides more than 1 million users worldwide.

The company was founded in 2013 - during this time it strengthened its presence in North America and managed to enter the international market in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Based in San Francisco, as of November 2021, it helps thousands of customers better manage jobs in digital format, offers a reliable, adapted to most devices and an easy-to-use software solution with a large range of functions. The product is used both by ordinary companies and specialized contractors, and is known for its approach to increasing productivity on construction sites.

Fieldwire will enhance Hilti's capabilities in software solutions to improve the performance of our customers. With the support of Hilti, the Fieldwire team will accelerate the development of a universal digital solution for construction market professionals. All current team members will be invited to stay at Hilti Fieldwire under the constant leadership of two founders Yves Frino and Javed Singha, and additional efforts will be made to significantly expand the team.

Hilti Group expects the transaction to be completed in the 4th quarter of 2021, it is subject to standard closing conditions, including regulatory approval.
