2021: Hacking clinic CCTV cameras and posting videos on the Internet

In December 2021, it became known about the hacking of computer systems of the private medical center "Fifth Point," located in the city of Artem, Primorsky Territory.

According to the Investigative Department of the RF IC in the Primorsky Territory, on December 4, 2021, an unknown person posted on the Internet a video from surveillance cameras installed in the surgical department of the medical center in Artyom. In the frames - patients at the appointment of proctologists and gynaecologists.

Hacked gynaecological clinic in Primorye

It was established that the person who illegally distributed the video was outside of Russia. A criminal case has been instituted under Art. 137 of the Criminal Code (violation of privacy).

The chief doctor of the clinic, Konstantin Modin, told the Vesti-Primorye correspondent that the cameras were installed in the halls, in the wards of the hospital, and operating rooms - doctors were required to observe patients in the postoperative period. Subsequently, the system was disabled. It's written a statement to the police.
