History

1987: Creation of the company

The oldest and the most recognizable fish product made by a fish factory "For the Homeland" – sprats canned food. Production of sprats canned food began in 1987 in fish processing workshop on the coast of Vistula Lagoon.

Thanks to the specific flavoring properties provided with a traditional method of smoking with use in alder wood smoking, the produced sprats canned food is more than 40 years a favourite delicacy of consumers.

Since 1987, parallel to production of sprats also processing and conservation of other sorts of the Baltic fish – sprats, smelts and crashes and also groups of ocean fish – a herring, a mackerel, a sardinella, sardines, etc. promptly developed.
