History

2021: PwC bought Focus Orange

In early December 2021, PwC acquired Focus Orange. The company did not disclose the financial component of the transaction.

Focus Orange co-founders Kamiel Selker, Ronald Dornbos and Raymond Velmers (all of whom previously worked at Willis Towers Watson) were appointed PwC partners as part of the integration. Crunchr, the SaaS division Focus Orange, backed by human resources giant Randstad, is not involved in the deal and will continue to operate as an independent entity led by Dirk Yonker, the fourth co-founder of Focus Orange.

Focus Orange works with companies such as Arcadis, Eneco, Essent, FrieslandCampina, Hema, KLM and Randstad to support them in developing compensation and benefits packages, developing pension schemes, and evaluating employee performance, among others.

After working for ten years, we faced a choice - either we continue organic growth, or strengthen our position with a strategic partner. PwC is ideal: their ambitions, market offers and organizational structure are fully consistent with our current ambitions, "explained Ronald Dornbos, one of the co-founders of Focus Orange.[1]
