2025: Businessman Maxim Levchenko fully bought out Fort Group
On April 15, 2025, it became known that businessman Maxim Levchenko became the sole owner of Fort Group Construction LLC (Fort Group). The organization, registered in 2009 in St. Petersburg, is engaged in real estate management.
Prior to the transaction, Levchenko owned a 49% stake in Fort Group Construction LLC. Another 51% belonged to the Cypriot Escamer Investments Limited. At the same time, 100% of Fort Group Construction LLC's shares have been pledged on a loan from Sberbank since 2017. According to the newspaper Kommersant, the organizations Fort Group Operation and Fort Group Management are also associated with the company.
The Fort Group website says it owns 15 shopping and business centers. From 2011 to 2016, the company acquired, built or took control of 10 shopping and entertainment complexes in St. Petersburg: the flagship Europolis, City Mall, London Mall, South Pole, 5 Lakes, Akadem Park, Rodeo Drive, Port Nakhodka, French Boulevard and Fiolent. " In 2016, the Fort Tower business center with an area of 41.4 thousand square meters was commissioned.
In 2017, complexes in Moscow were taken into management - three Golden Babylon shopping centers in Rostokino, Otradnoye and Yasenevo, as well as the Fifth Avenue shopping center. Between 2018 and 2021, the company carried out their complete reconception and rebranding. In 2023, Fort Group began renovating the Fifth Avenue shopping complex, consistently working to rotate streaming tenants.
