In the spring of 2015 of Yahoo announced purchase of a startup of Foursquare for 900 million dollars. It is considered that this transaction will be the largest in the history of the organization. Making a start from these data, they started absolutely new advertizing technology under the name Pinpoint. Except entry into the mobile market of software of Yahoo is going to fill losses after the end of five years' cooperation with Microsoft. Earlier this company developed technology of the search system Yahoo. The company develops comprehensively, in 2014 Yahoo purchased Tumblr blogging platform.
