2017: Gandalf acquisition by Elko company

Elko Grupa AS at the beginning of July, 2017 announced conclusion of an agreement on acquisition of 85% of the stocks Gandalf Distribution AB.^[1]

"Elko already long time looks for opportunities for expansion of the geography — told Svens Dinsdorfs, the CEO of Elko Group. — The commercial model and an organization structure of Gandalf is very similar to ours, and we do not doubt success of this purchase. The Gandalf command consists of well-motivated and professional workers — we are sure of the forthcoming processes of integration and establishing interaction. Having been a part of the group Elko, Gandalf will be able to expand the range of the goods and to take advantage on exchange of competences".

Though Gandalf will be a part of the Elko group, meanwhile the enterprise will work under the name of Gandalf. David Nicander will continue the work on a post of the CEO and will remain the minority shareholder of Gandalf Distribution AB.
