The beginning of history of Gradient-New technologies company belongs to 1990 when the employee group of departments of the automation of management systems (AMS) of the enterprises of the city of Izhevsk formed a programming shop of Gradiyent company. Since 1990 the group of programmers conducts developments in the software market. Market development and a programming shop objectively caused restructuring of the company that promoted selection of Gradient-New technologies company in independent scientific and production association in July, 1998.

The main and priority activities of the company are scientific and technical developments and rendering services in the field of information and computer technologies.

Now extensive opportunities of modern technologies, scientific and organizing potential and also the accumulated experience allow specialists of the company of a message of development of program systems in the field of control automation business by processes of the enterprises:

• main accounting and management of finance;
• office-work and document flow;
• management, accounting and production planning.

Specialists of the company have experience of development and deployment of information systems for the state organizations and the enterprises of mechanical engineering, trade, food industry and health care.

The main activity of NPO Gradient-New Technologies, i.e. about ten years, development, implementation and support of information systems for control automation by industrial enterprises and organizations is.

At the very beginning of the activity the company was engaged in the solution local, not connected among themselves, tasks of control automation and accounting.

Since 1992 development of systems of complex automation of the enterprises to order is begun.

In 1994 the Gradient-New technologies company released the first version of an accounting system Chance - a universal accounting complex for the small and medium enterprises and budget organizations. This system integrated in itself experiment of specialists of the company on development of the accounting software. So far electronic accounting Chance successfully is implemented in budget organizations and commercial enterprises.

Activation of banking activity promoted the beginning of developments on its automation. So, in 1994 by request of Izhmashbank the Trading day program was created and successfully implemented. This program covered all complex of banking activities and allowed to automate the current work of bank completely.

The research of demand and supply showed lack of qualitative and inexpensive programs for automation of office. With respect thereto since 1996 in the company the initiative group for research and development of programs of the direction, new to us, was created. Creation of a subsystem of automation of office which developed afterwards into a difficult and volume complex of office-work and document flow served as the beginning. The complex was written using front lines for those times of technologies. As strategic direction for development it was selected operating system MS Windows and technology of data processing of Microsoft company.

Till 1996 software development was conducted mainly using FOXPRO. Cardinal changes of information systems belong to 1997:

• systems grew to the corporate size that demanded new solutions;
• requirements to reliability and functionality of the software raised;
• more and more seldom the MS DOS operating system began to be used.

In response to the above-stated changes in the company the decision on preparation of work benches for development of subsystems for Windows was made. As the platform the product of Microsoft company - the MS SQL Server was selected.

During this period in the company the research laboratory for development of a core of the Olympus complex which intended for simplification of application design, describing business processes was created.
