Kharkiv National University of Municipal Economy (KNUME) of A.N. Beketov

The Kharkiv National University of Municipal Economy (KNUME) of A.N. Beketov (earlier — The Kharkiv National Academy of Municipal Economy (KNAME)) as of July, 2018 provides training of students in three educational and qualification levels: the bachelor, the specialist, the master on 30 specialties and 16 directions: economy of the enterprise, accounting and audit, management, ecology, environmental protection and environmental management, electromecanics, construction, architecture, hydraulic engineering (water resources), geodesy, cartography and land management, hotel and restaurant business, tourism, electrical equipment, labor protection and transport technologies, logistics. As a part of the university: 9 faculties, 30 departments.

• 1922. All-Ukrainian Technical School of Municipal Services (AUTSMS).
• 1924. Evening Working Technical School of the National Economy (EWTSNE). Faculty of municipal services.
• 1929. Kharkiv Institute of the National Economy. Utility faculty.
• 1930. Kharkiv Institute of Municipal Services (KIMS).
• 1935. Kharkiv Educational Plant of Municipal Services (KEPMS).
• As a part of HUKKH — the Kharkiv Institute of Municipal Services (KIMS) and the Technical School of Green Construction (TSGC).
• 1938. The Kharkiv Institute of Utility Construction (KIUC) as a part of HUKKH.
• 1939. The Kharkiv Institute of Engineers of Utility Construction (KIEUC) as a part of HUKKH.
• 1989. Kharkiv Institute of Engineers of Municipal Economy (KIEME).
• 1994. Kharkiv State Academy of Municipal Economy (KSAME).
• 2003. Kharkiv National Academy of Municipal Economy (KNAME).
