Hivext

The mission of Hivext - repeated reduction of temporary resources of development and reduction of the threshold of the required knowledge for creation of difficult web applications. The Hivext platform has no direct analogs in the world. Indirect competitors of Hivext are such projects as Google Apps Engine, Heroku (SalesForce is purchased) and Microsoft Azure.

Hivext allows to conduct development of server business logic of web applications in different programming languages (Java, JavaScript, PHP and so forth). The platform provides to developers the online environment of management of the Hive CDE applications (Cloud Development Environment) allowing a message work with applications directly from the browser without the need for installation of additional software.

Enter a set of services Hivext: providing a hosting of applications with the configured server framework, a set of components for the solution of standard tasks (authorization of users, distribution of access rights, file storage, etc.), the directory of templates of applications (expanded by third-party developers), the directory of services (which is also expanded by users).

Participants of a command work on Hivext technology about two years. In the summer of 2010 the project won the competition Dev Generation 2010 held by Softline company. The Hivext.com project is already available in the beta. The beginning of commercial operation is planned on the third quarter 2011.
