In the Russian IT company ICL Services entering TOP 100 of outsourcers of the world the research group (Research Group) on industrial Internet of Things (IoT) is created in the spring of 2018. Its projects are already implemented in a number of the large Russian companies of the industrial sector.

One of the main drivers of increase in demand for such solutions in Russia is universal digitalization of business. However interferes with implementation of IoT in masses lack of domestic solutions which would be cheaper in comparison with foreign analogs.

Services

Initiative Research Group since 2016 develops competences of ICL group in IoT — from development of hardware to cloud services based on Azure, AWS and own server part. In a work progress the most popular IoT protocols (MQTT, AMQP), the alternative database (MongoDB) are used, cross-platform solutions are developed and the DevOps methods are applied.

Appolonov Ilya, the head of research group of Internet of Things of ICL Services company, tells about digital-projects: "Now (May, 2018) the Research Group command implements two own projects of the class Enterprise IoT. The first project is a monitoring system of a microenvironment in working premises. That work of employees became more comfortable, we exercise constant control of CO2 sensors, humidity and temperature which are set at office. The second — the solution on the basis of Computer vision technologies. It automates retail sale of special groups of the goods which are on sale on age restriction on self-chekauta (Self checkout comment – cash desk of self-service)".

For implementation of initiatives in the field of industrial Internet of Things, ICL Services signed the partnership agreement with developer company of Signum. Two projects are in process of pilot implementation. The implemented solutions allow to implement fully import substitution tasks in the field of Industrial IoT.
