In mid-October 2024, the grand opening of a new loader plant took place in Kurgan. The company ITM Power Transmissions LLC, which is part of the Kurgandormash structure, is located on the territory of the former ZhBI-2 plant on Mashinostroiteley Avenue. The total investment in the project amounted to more than ₽1 billion.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Kurganskaya Region Vadim Shumkov, Senator of the Federation Council Sergei Muratov and member of the Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kurgandormash Yuri Avdalov. The implementation of the project became possible thanks to the support of regional authorities and the company's own investments, which amounted to at least ₽400 million.

In
Kurgan for ₽1 billion launched a plant for the production of loaders

The new production site occupies more than 10 thousand square meters. The decision to create it was made by the management of Kurgandormash in 2023 with the aim of expanding production capacities, increasing the range of products and creating additional jobs.

According to the company's plans, starting in 2024, a serial production of a TYeRMIT-1000 loader with an annual production volume of at least 400 units will be organized at the new plant. In addition, the company intends to produce a frontal electric loader MEP-1000 in the amount of at least 100 units per year.

The product line will also include a front loader with a telescopic boom and a breaking frame MMP-1500 and a paw snow loader KZDM-206. In addition to the finished equipment, the plant will produce leading conical and cylindrical bridges for mini-equipment.

A feature of the new production is the use of Kurgandormash's own developments. This will allow the company not only to ensure the high quality of its products, but also to respond flexibly to the needs of the market.[1]
