Using intellectual, effective and adaptable technology, the IanTech command created the new surgical platform which can become one of steps in fight against blindness "epidemic". According to information provided by the company, the miLOOP platform uses the thin, superelastic, self-extending thread for complete fragmentation of a crystalline lens with a cataract of any stage. At the same time construction of the platform minimizes ultrasonic vibrations in an eyeball, protecting it from complications.
IanTech should add a portfolio of the equipment and supplies of Carl Zeiss Meditec company for cataract surgery that will allow them to offer doctors and patients new opportunities in the field of low-invasive ophthalmologic transactions. This technology should simplify the procedure of surgical intervention, reduce risk of transaction for patients and further lead to improvement of results.
The fact that it is easy for work with it to study is considered separate advantage of the platform. Using microinvasive technologies, including miLOOP, surgeons will be able to shift a paradigm of the surgical help at a cataract and really create absolutely other approach, optimizing surgical tactics and achieving all of the best results in the future.[1]
