2022: Receiving support from ВЭБ.РФ in the amount of 151 million rubles.

The investment project in Koryazhma, Arkhangelsk Region, which will be implemented with the participation of ВЭБ.РФ, is aimed at expanding the production of laminated materials for packaging food products. This was announced by ВЭБ.РФ on December 12, 2022. For these purposes, the development corporation will allocate 151 million rubles. The corresponding agreement was signed by the chief managing partner for urban development of the ВЭБ.РФ Irina Makieva and the director of Ilim-TNP LLC Irina Yarygin in the presence of the governor of the Arkhangelsk region Alexander Tsybulsky.

At the expense of ВЭБ.РФ funds allocated to support single-industry towns, a tandem extrusion line for double-sided lamination of paper and cardboard (production capacity of 12 thousand tons per year) will be purchased for the development of the enterprise, including: laminated materials for the dairy industry (7.2 thousand tons per year) and laminated materials for the production of disposable utensils (capacity of 4.8 thousand tons per year).

In ВЭБ.РФ, we pay special attention to sustainable development projects. According to expert estimates, the implementation of this project will affect the achievement of five Sustainable Development Goals at the same time, including goals for responsible consumption and production, low-cost and clean energy, innovation and infrastructure. In addition, the project will contribute to the creation of new jobs and increase the level of income of the population of the monotown. It is especially important that in the current economic conditions we provide support to the company, which is also aimed at import substitution, - said Irina Makieva.

The total cost of the investment project is more than 190 million rubles, 20 new jobs will be created in the monotown, not related to the activities of the city-forming enterprise.

Not so long ago we visited the enterprise and understand that after leaving the Russian market of many foreign manufacturers of laminated packaging, we faced the problem of its shortage for our main products. First of all, these are dairy products, so the Arkhangelsk region, where a large amount of pulp is produced, could not miss the opportunity to establish a new production. Ilim-TNP proposed to double the production capacity, which will cover the packaging needs not only of the entire Arkhangelsk region, but also export products to other regions, - said Alexander Tsybulsky.

As of December 2022, we produce 600-700 tons of products per month for dairy production. The purchase of equipment with the help of ВЭБ.РФ support will allow us to increase to 2 thousand tons per month.
