Inmilkco (Inmilko)

The history of the company begins in 1968. It is one of the oldest dairy plants of Ukraine. Current owners – Samvel Vitalyevich Kutuzyan and Yury Nikolaevich Kovalenko – were a part of founders in 2003.

The new command develops the medium-term development strategy of the enterprise which implementation began fall of 2003. Work was conducted at the same time in several directions. At the plant reconstruction of production areas and hardware upgrade began. Besides the program of development of partnership with sales channels of products which had to strengthen positions of the trademarks belonging to the company in the Kharkiv region and the neighboring regions is built.

2003-2011 can be characterized as the period of the active investments. During this time more than 2 million euros were invested in development of the company. The main directions of development became: the system of logistics, strengthening of positions of trademarks in the market and increase in their representation in six regions of Eastern Ukraine.

Now products of the company are provided in 600 supermarkets and 2000 retail outlets of Eastern Ukraine. The company operates with two trademarks which are known in the territory with population more than 15 million people, occupying at the same time about 20% of Eastern Ukraine in the segment.

The company owns two of four existing national contracts for production of Private Label and shows high financial performance on

to total revenue gain:

• 2009 – 26%
• 2010 – 49%
• 2011 (forecast) – 51%;

and

to profit gain:

• 2009 – 55%;
• 2010 – 62%;
• 2011 (forecast) – 27%.

In 2011 the enterprise finishes passing of certification on the quality standards and safety of food products (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP).
