The North-Western Administrative District Interdnestrcom (Joint Private company "Interdnestrcom") is the telecommunication company rendering services in the territory of the Dnestr Moldavian Republic.
Provides the service fixed wire, the fixed wireless and mobile communication and also service on wire and wireless data transmission (Internet), television under a uniform brand.
History
2018: The government of Moldova approved the bill of registration of Interdnestrcom
In November, 2018 it became known that the Government of Moldova approved the bill of registration in the country of Interdnestrcom company working at the territory of the unrecognized Dnestr Moldavian republic. After that the document was entered to parliament of Moldova.
The Minister of Economy and Infrastructure of Moldova Kirill Gaburich explained that adoption of the specified bill will allow "reestablish telephone communication between two coast of Dniester", the river separating Moldova and Transnistria.
At this time in Moldova two mobile operators:
- Orange ("subsidiary" of the French operator of the same name) and
- Moldcell (belongs to the Swedish Telia).
Kirill Gaburich noted that the government of Moldova offsets to the Moldavian operators possible losses from entry into the market of the Dnestr operator.
However, the source of CNews in the telecommunication market doubts that Interdnestrcom to Moldova will seriously influence an exit market situation. As for telephone communication between two coast of Dniester, this problem was solved by itself using Viber and other messengers, the interlocutor of the edition adds[1].
2017: The letter of intent on permission of the telecom conflict of PMR with Moldova
In 2017 the authorities of Transnistria and Moldova signed the "About Measures for the Organization of Interaction in the field of Telecommunication" protocol. Within its implementation in Moldova the specified bill is also adopted. Normalization of the relations happens with mediation of OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe).

The fixed wire communication is provided to physical persons and legal entities if technically possible.
The fixed wireless communication
The fixed wireless communication is provided in some localities of PMR by means of the CDMA standard. Initially fixed phone numbers of wireless communication had own numbering in the code +373562khkhkhkhkh. Since 2009 all subscribers of the fixed wireless network were equated to subscribers of a wired network, and instead of code 562 received the corresponding codes, depending on the locality (+373533khkhkhkhkh, +373557khkhkhkhkh, …).
Mobile communication
The Interdnestrcom is the only company having the license for rendering mobile services in the Dnestr Moldavian Republic granted by the authorities of this republic. Provides mobile services in the CDMA standard in two frequency ranges — 450 and 800 MHz. The service area of subscribers of mobile communication of IDC is the most part of the Dnestr Moldavian Republic and territories, adjacent to its borders. The Interdnestrcom network works on two technologies of the CDMA standard — 1x and EV-DO REV.0. Territory of a covering of each of technologies different. Also at Interdnestrcom company in cooperation with the Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian, Latvian mobile operators of the CDMA standard provides service of bilateral roaming. The international roaming is provided to subscribers of the CDMA standard, serviced in the frequency range of 800 MHz in the territory of Ukraine and 450 MHz — in the territory of other countries.

where + — a method of an exit to an international circuit, 373 — the telephone code of Moldova; 77 — the telephone code of Interdnestrcom network; x \any possible digit. At set in Transnistria from the phone numbers registered in PMR instead of +373 0 is used.
Internet
Originally the company provided services of the Internet under the general brand Interdnestrcom. Then, after merger of regional operator of wire communication Transtelecom for provision of services of the Internet the separate trademark — OK was created.
The official start of the OK trademark is dated on January 16, 2007. This trademark had also own slogan — "Live More Interestingly!" and the www.oknet.md website. This trademark existed till November 18, 2009 then it was integrated into already existing brand — IDC, and Interdnestrcom all services (including and the Internet) began to provide under this uniform brand. The website is liquidated.
Earlier connection to the Internet was provided on technologies dial-up and Wi-Fi. Since January 10, 2011 connection and use of these technologies for Internet access is stopped for all subscribers of the company.[2]

The operator provides services of television among which: analog television, digital television and IP television.
14 communication centers
In total at IDC of 14 communication centers located in large localities of the Dnestr Moldavian Republic. 5 of them are in Tiraspol, 1 in Rybnitsa, 1 in Bender, 1 in Kamenka, 2 in Dubasari, 1 in Grigoriopola, 1 in Slobodzey, 1 in Pervomaisk and 1 in Dnestrovsk. [3]
2011: Preparation for start of LTE
On December 29, 2011 in Interdnestrcom company, within the project on construction of a wireless network of fourth generation, the first test call using LTE technology in the range of 800 MHz was executed. As a result of the subsequent test calls data transfer rate over 40 Mbps was received that exceeds speed in the existing CDMA EVDO Rev.A and UMTS standards several times.
Start of network in commercial operation is planned for the second quarter 2012. For December, 2011 four base stations on air work. The total quantity of base stations at the first stage of input of network in operation will make 40 units, it will allow to provide a covering of 80% of the territory of Transnistria or 90% of subscribers of mobile communication.
2009: The person with a local registration can only be the subscriber
Citizens of the Dnestr Moldavian Republic or citizens of other countries can become subscribers of Interdnestrcom, but surely having a registration in the territory of Transnistria.{ [4]

2005: Start of CDMA network in the range of 450 MHz
In 2005 Interdnestrcom and the Moldavian state operator of fixed connection Moldtelekom at the same time started CDMA networks in other range - 450 MHz.
2004: Moldova a beret of $1 million for the license, but does not give the company of the right to work
The conflict in the field of telecommunications between PMR with Moldova could be solved in 2004. Then Interdnestrcom obtained the license for work in Moldova, having paid for it $1 million. However the president of Moldova Vladimir Voronin holding at that time a post successfully appealed against providing the license to Interdnestrcom in the Constitutional court.
As a result the Dnestr operator did not begin work in Moldova. At this $1 million paid for the license, the companies did not return.
2003: Telecom war with Moldova: glushilka and rupture of a fixed communication
In 2003 between Moldova and Transnistria war in the field of telecommunications began. Moldova at the frequencies used by Interdnestrcom started digital television. It created noises for CMDA network of the Dnestr operator.
In response to side of Transnistria began to suppress a signal of the Moldavian GSM operators. As a result mutual noises were stopped. At the same time the signal of the Moldavian mobile operators reaches Transnistria. And as in Moldova the passport for sale of SIM cards is not required, most of residents of Transnistria use Moldavian communication.
In the same 2003 the fixed communication between Moldova and Transnistria was terminated. Moldova introduced the new system of telephone codes which Transnistria refused to recognize. As a result communication between Moldova and Transnistria is performed by means of the IP telephony on the overestimated rates.
The 1990th: V. Gushan and I. Kazmala create mobile operator and buy Transtelecom
At disintegration of the Soviet Union Transnistria refused to be a part of Moldova and became the unrecognized state. The telecommunication market in PMR and Moldova began to develop in the different ways.
In Transnistria in the late nineties the alternative operator of fixed connection Interdnestrcom started a cellular network in the American CDMA standard which uses range – 800 MHz. Later Interdnestrcom purchased the main operator of stationary telephony in the unrecognized republic – Transtelecom.
In Moldova in the late nineties mobile operators began to work in the European GSM standard in the range of 900 MHz (later the range of 1800 MHz was added to it).
