The Irbit Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant (IHFZ) is one of the largest Russian manufacturers of finished medicines (HLS), galenic drugs and substances. The history of the enterprise begins in 1942, when the Akrikhin chemical farm near Moscow was evacuated in the city of Irbit, Sverdlovsk Region. To date, the plant produces 82 names of drugs, synthesizes 10 substances for its own manufacture of medicines and for sale. The industry peculiarities of the enterprise include specialization in the production of HS in packages (in tablet form for ingestion).

Also, an important feature and an important competitive advantage of the plant is the presence of its own chemical synthesis of substances for the production of HS. The range of products of the plant is in demand and is quite well sold out in pharmacies due to the relatively low price. Today, the company supplies products to more than 300 wholesale companies in the Russian Federation and the CIS countries.

2024: Appointment of Lyudmila Abrosimova as CEO
In June 2024, it became known about the change of the general director of the Irbitsky Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant: it was headed by Lyudmila Abrosimova, who replaced Lyudmila Solodukhina in this post. Previously, Abrosimova worked at the enterprise as a deputy director. Read more here.
