The IronCAD company was founded in March, 2001 as an independent branch from Alventive, Inc., for the purpose of evolution of business and development of the new innovation tool. The main product of the company was released in June, 1998 by Visionary Design Systems (VDS) company. Development was based on the technology purchased at company 3D/EYE, Inc in 1997. Since release in 1998, IronCAD received a set of awards for the innovative technologies. The combination of the innovative technologies and ease of use does it by the most productive tool of existing.
In 2001, through consolidation with the company CAXA, the producer, largest in China, CADCAM//PLM solutions, IronCAD took strong positions in the perspective market and purchased additional opportunities for IronCAD output to new level.
