Istradigital is the company initiator of the project of creation of a digital megacluster ISTRADIGITAL.
The digital megacluster of Istradigital will be located in the Istra district of Moscow region on the land plot of 241.5 hectares and will include three zones: data center, multifunction complex (Foresight center, congress hall, co-workings, campus, hotel and sports complex) and agricultural cluster.
The 40 thousand racks DPC and power consumption in 250 MW (with a possibility of expansion to 450 W) will take place in the territory of 620 thousand sq.m
History
2019: Involvement of partners to the project
At the beginning of August, 2019 it became known of involvement of partners to creation technopark with the largest in Russia data center Istradigital. Agreements with Schneider Electric and the company "Arbitek" were signed (AiTeco Group).
Schneider Electric will provide implementation of technical solutions at design, construction and maintenance of the park of the equipment of DPC. At the same time it is not about commercially binding agreement.
Schneider Electric and Istradigital agreed about cooperation in scientific research and education with use Foresight center and a campus of Istradigital and also about joint work in the field of cloud services and peripheral calculations (Edge computing).
Arbitek as one of strategic partners will be engaged in implementation of technical solutions at design, construction and maintenance of data center. Cooperation also concerns developments of hardware-software platforms and solutions, including using resources of technopark.
Construction of the park of the equipment of data center will begin at the end of 2019, and commissioning of the first stage of DPC is planned for the third quarter of the 2021st. The beginning of work of the park at full capacity is expected until the end of 2024.
The creator of the project — the developer Volodymyr Masur — estimates construction of technopark of Istradigital at 132 billion rubles.[1]
