2024: Opening a representative office in Krasnodar

At the end of April 2024, it became known that the Chinese company Xuzhou Jitian lntelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. Co (Jitian lntelligent Equipment), which develops unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), has opened a representative office in Krasnodar. It is assumed that drones for agricultural use will be produced in the Kuban.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, the enterprise Dzhitian Intelligence Investment LLC is registered, the founder of which is Ramil Shevokhutdinov. According to him, the company is creating a production site where agricultural drones will be assembled. The choice of Krasnodar as the place of work of the representative office and organization of production is due to the orientation towards the agricultural regions of the Russian Federation - Kuban, Rostov region, North Caucasus. At the same time, agricultural drones are planned to be sold throughout the country.

At the Krasnodar site, in particular, a JT40 model will be assembled, which is designed to spray fertilizers, as well as crops that do not require row compliance. Video cameras can be mounted on drones of this type, which allows monitoring of farmland or other production facilities. Another method of possible use is lifting to a height of various loads weighing up to 60 kg.

At the initial stage, it is planned to invest approximately 40 million rubles in the creation of the UAV assembly line. It is estimated that the plant will produce about 20 drones per month. The relatively small design capacity is due to the fact that in the current geopolitical situation in most regions of Russia there are restrictions on drone flights. After the bans are lifted, the company plans to expand the production of UAVs, making financial investments in two stages.

Our direct competitors are agrodrons DJI and XAG, but these manufacturers have banned sales in Russia. In fact, the presence in the Russian Federation of an official representative office (and not a dealer or distribution center) will provide direct contact between the manufacturer and the consumer, as well as technical support, says Shevokhutdinov.[1]
