The Kama Center for Cluster Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (Kama CDC) was created in order to provide conditions for effective interaction of business entities, scientific and educational, non-profit and public organizations, state authorities and local self-government in the implementation of cluster initiatives of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the data for 2022, the Kama CDC includes:
- Machine-building cluster;
- IT cluster;
- Cluster of manufacturers of polymer products;
- Furniture cluster;
- Food cluster;
- Construction cluster;
- Light industry cluster.
According to the Charter[1], the founders of the center are:
- the Republic of Tatarstan represented by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan;
- Non-profit partnership "Kama innovative territorial-production cluster."
