Opening of the BIM laboratory
Thanks to the participation of Kazan National Research Technological University in the project "Advanced Engineering Schools," the university actively develops cooperation with industrial partners. Among them are leading Russian companies working in the field of information technology and engineering, for example, "System Solutions." The university announced this on December 21, 2022. The first major result of the partnership is the opening of a modern educational space - TsifTech.
This laboratory, located on an area of more than 200 square meters, will implement additional education programs for students and specialists in the field of BIM technology.
We carefully studied the entire range of specialties of KNITU and chose those who need such competencies, for example, heat engineering designers, power engineers, as well as construction direction profiles, "said Alexander Kachin, director of projects at System Solutions. |
According to Ruslan Paley, director of the advanced engineering school of KNITU Promkhimtech, the project created within the framework of the PISH will combine both educational and scientific areas.
For KNITU students, this space is a good opportunity not only to get additional competencies, but also to work on domestic software, participate in the scientific activities of the university and master information modeling in design and construction.
