Until recently, only one American company supplied such bearings to Russia, which left the Russian market due to sanctions. Domestic bearings, according to the manufacturer, are not inferior to foreign counterparts in quality, while their cost is 10 times lower.

Each bearing consists of a thrust bearing and a heel with a composite coating based on polyester ether ketone (PEEC) with antifriction additives. After reaching the design capacity, the company plans to produce up to 48 thousand thrust bearings and 25 thousand drinks annually.

As of October 2024, the localization of production is about 80%. NGO Keramet intends to bring this figure to 100% by the end of 2024. The company expects to fully meet the need of Russian oil producers for PEEK-coated sliding bearings.

In addition to the domestic market, the company plans to enter the markets of Kazakhstan, Iran and the Middle East. The Keramet group of companies is based at the site near the Eastern Bypass of Perm and specializes in the production of pumping equipment and components for pumps.

NPO Keramet, which is part of the Keramet Group of Companies, is legally registered in Moscow Troitsk. The main activity of the company is the creation of cost-effective bearings.[1]
