The company specializes in development of the most modern solutions and serves as the supplier for large enterprises and the organizations in the USA, Europe and Japan. Its main market — solutions for automated design in mechanical engineering, process design and robotics. In these areas the company has a broad set of products — from autonomous to completely integrated — which help customers to save means, to reduce terms of development and to increase quality of designing of products (thanks to control of processes of assembly/dismantling of mechanical nodes) and technology processes (thanks to simulation 3D - to modeling of the technology transactions executed in limited space).

Kineo CAM company — the winner carried out by the Ministry of researches and technologies of national tender of innovations (2000). In 2005 it was conferred an award for innovations and outstanding achievements in the commercialization of the robotic and automated technologies founded by Institute of electrical and electronic engineers and electronics and the International federation of robotics, and in 2007 — became the winner of competition of innovations in information telecommunication technologies, the carried-out European Commission and the European Council of applied sciences, technologies and engineering.

In the fall of 2012 Siemens purchased Kineo CAM company the acquired company has over 200 customers around the world. After completion of the transaction Kineo CAM will be a part of PLM Software business division. The relevant agreement was signed today. The cost of the transaction is not disclosed.

In twelve years of work Kineo CAM created the advanced software solutions executing optimization of functioning of industrial robots and design of trajectories of their movement at transactions of assembly dismantling for the different industries, including for automotive industry, the aerospace industry and shipbuilding. For example, in automotive industry use of software modules of Kineo CAM allowed one of producers better to design installation process of a node — a seat or the meter panel — and to optimize process of dismantling at maintenance. In other cases software modules from Kineo CAM help to optimize kinematics and trajectories of the movement of industrial robots.

The Kineo CAM software products are delivered to end users and as ready applications, and as libraries for CAD developers - and CAM systems and producers of modern robotic complexes. Both companies intend to develop all current product lines of Kineo CAM.
