PJSC Kirovsky Zavod is the oldest industrial enterprise of the engineering profile of Russia (founded in 1801). One of the largest companies with a developed metallurgical base in the north-west of the country.

History

2023: Petrostal Prodan one of the oldest metallurgical plants in Russia

On November 20, 2023, it became known that the Kirovsky Zavod holding sold one of the oldest metallurgical plants in Russia - the Petrostal enterprise, founded in 1801 at the facilities of the Kronstadt foundry. 2010: Major Subsidiaries

The main subsidiaries as of September 2010 are:

• CJSC Petersburg Tractor Plant is the leader of the Russian market in the niche of energy-saturated tractors (in 2009, the share was about 80%).
• Petrostal Metallurgical Plant CJSC is a unique metallurgical production with a full cycle of metal processing from smelting to the manufacture of finished parts.
• Zavod Kirov-Energomash CJSC is included in the register of innovative enterprises of St. Petersburg, is an accredited supplier of the state concern Energoatom and a participant in the government's Program for the Development of Nuclear power of the Russian Federation for the Period until 2030.
• ZAO "Plant" Universalmash "manufactures and repairs various types of wheel-tracked equipment for road construction, oil and gas industry and law enforcement agencies, fulfills orders for the manufacture of large-sized metal structures.
• Kirov-Stankomash LLC is one of the leading machine tool companies in Russia.

2009: Inclusion in the list of strategic enterprises of the Russian Federation

In May 2009, PJSC Kirovsky Zavod was included in the List of backbone enterprises in Russia.
