Kodotel

On June 24, 2013 Tele2 closed the transaction on acquisition of Kodotel operator. Financial conditions of purchase do not reveal. The transaction received all necessary approvals in regulating authorities.

Acquisition will allow Tele2 to increase a subscriber base in Voronezh and to strengthen leader positions in the region.

In addition, the operator will double the frequency range in the region that will allow to improve quality of the provided services and to reduce investments into increase in capacity of network. The transport network of Tele2 in Voronezh and area will be complemented with an optical ring of Kodotel company - it will increase network transmission capacity and its reliability.

Since November 1, 2013 all clients of Kodotel company are transferred to service in Tele2 and can use services of the operator, having saved the phone number.
