In May 2022, it became known about the sale of a controlling stake in OJSC Center for Restorative Medicine and Rehabilitation Krasnodar Balneology Clinic (KBL) of the Ekaterinskaya Clinic network of medical institutions. The cost of the transaction of the company did not disclose.

A controlling stake in OJSC Center for Restorative Medicine and Rehabilitation Krasnodar Balneology Hospital was acquired by the parent company of the Ekaterinskaya network, Klinika Ekaterinskaya LLC, but changes in the ownership structure of OJSC in the SPARK-Interfax base have not yet been reflected by May 18, 2022.

According to Vitaly Volkov, Director General of the Ekaterinskaya Clinic, the Krasnodar Balneology Clinic will maintain a socially oriented orientation. The basic concept will also remain the same - health and rehabilitation programs based on natural sources.

At the same time, to increase the level of service and services in the hospital, they will increase the staff of doctors and update equipment, it is also planned to expand the area of ​ ​ premises. In 2022, the volume of investments in the health resort will be about 1.2 billion rubles.

This is a unique rehabilitation center in Krasnodar with its own natural mineral springs. Every year, 27 thousand patients, including 11 thousand children, are treated here. An important place in the activities of the balneology clinic is occupied by the rehabilitation of children within the framework of compulsory medical insurance and on trips to the Children of the Kuban program, and we will continue to develop this direction, "Volkov noted.

The Krasnodar balneology clinic, built in 1977, specializes in sanatorium treatment using natural factors - its own mineral water, Saki and Yeisky mud. The balneological complex consists of several buildings with a total area of ​ ​ 6,600 square meters. meters.^[1]
