Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University (KSPU) of V.P. Astafyev

The university provides to young people of region and the regions, neighboring to it, a broad spectrum of educational services in 51 programs of higher education, to 28 programs of postgraduate education, 17 programs of retraining, 13 programs of advanced training and 8 programs of secondary professional education. The structure of the university includes 8 faculties and 5 institutes (Institute of mathematics, physics and information science, Institute of psychology, pedagogics and management of education, Institute of special pedagogics, Institute of physical culture, sport and health of I. Yarygin, Institute of additional education and advanced training), 61 departments. At the university a system on training of teachers of the top skills is created. Training of candidates of science is conducted in a high school postgraduate study on 28 specialties in which studies the 288th person. Doctoral studies on 2 industries are open: pedagogical and historical sciences, 5 dissertation councils act. Scientific activity of the university is performed in 14 main directions, a row from them has the innovation character. Annually the university lets out more than 2000 specialists.
