KuibyshevAzot

It is one of the ten largest world producers in the production of caprolactam. Production of polyamide-6 in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe. The company produces cord fabric based on high-strength technical thread. It has an integrated management system certified for compliance with the requirements of Russian and international standards ISO 9001:2000 (GOST R ISO 9001-2001); ISO 14001:2004; OHSAS 18001:2007 (GOST R 12.0.230).

The company operates in two main areas:

• caprolactam and products of its processing (polyamide-6, high-strength technical threads, cord fabric, engineering plastics);
• ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers.

In addition, KuibyshevAzot produces process gases that meet the needs of the main business areas, and at the same time are independent commodity products. The full range of products has about 30 items.

2024

KuibyshevAzot bought Russian ammonia and urea production plants from foreigners

In December 2024, the Togliatti chemical concern KuibyshevAzot completed the process of buying out shares of foreign partners in two large enterprises - Linde Azot Togliatti LLC (ammonia production) and Volgafert LLC (urea production). These data became known in January 2025. The transactions allowed the company to fully control these facilities on its industrial site. Read more here.

Purchase from Italian Tecnimont of a stake in carbamide manufacturer Volgafert

In early December 2024, Kuibyshevazot PJSC increased its stake in Volgafert LLC from 68% to 100% after buying back 32% of shares from the Italian company MET DEV 1 S.r.l., part of the Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. The joint venture was established in 2017 to build a granular urea production facility. Read more here.
