Terroir
Clay, sand, silt, chalk, marl, limestone, pebbles and even marble are found in the valley, which in different proportions create dozens of types of soils. Heavy clay soils retain moisture, allow the grape to reach maximum maturity, giving a saturated color, powerful tannin and complex deep aroma. A narrow strip in 20-30 cm of fertile land begins a clean plaster mountain interspersed with chalk.
