2025: Nationalization

In December 2025 St. Petersburg , the Petrograd District Court decided to seize and transfer ownership states of the Levashovsky business center. The corresponding decision was made on the claim. Prosecutor General's Office RUSSIAN FEDERATION

According to Delovoy Petersburg, claims were brought against the former owners Vadim and Nikolai Alexandrov, as well as against Metrostroy and Metroparking LLC, which was the formal owner of the facility. The legal position of the supervisory authority was based on the fact that the building was erected with budget funds originally allocated for the development of the metro.

Business Center "Levashovsky"

The total area of ​ ​ the structure is 37.2 thousand square meters. m. Legally, the facility is designed as a sports complex, but in fact it is operated as a business center.

In 2024, the asset became interested in the bankruptcy trustee of the bankrupt Metrostroy, which initiated the procedure for its assessment for subsequent sale from trading. Among the potential buyers was JSC Metrostroy of the Northern Capital, which acquired other objects of the bankrupt enterprise.

According to Delovoy Petersburg, the seizure of real estate in favor of the state remains one of the key trends in the market in 2025. Earlier in St. Petersburg, the Dom Balle hotel near the Mariinsky Theater and the Author boutique hotel on Vladimirsky Prospekt were turned into state ownership.

In October 2025, the court satisfied the claim of the prosecutor's office in relation to the property of the St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions, and in September the same decision was made at the Palace of Culture named after Kirov. The list of seized real estate in the city also includes Raven Russia warehouse complexes and the Kellermann Center business center.[1]
