2025: Start of construction of electronic printed circuit board plant for ₽5 billion

A plant for the production of electronic printed circuit boards with an investment of ₽5 billion will be built in the Vologda region. The agreement on the implementation of the project in June 2025 was signed by the governor of the region Georgy Filimonov and the chairman of the board of directors of National Energy Company JSC Dmitry Filatov.

The investor is Luch LLC, created with the participation of NEC JSC, RIA Novosti reports. The company will become a resident of the special economic zone of the industrial and production type "Vologda." The company is planning to equip with modern industrial equipment.

Governor Georgy Filimonov said that the implementation of the project will create more than 450 new jobs. According to him, the plant will increase the revenue part of the regional budget and the size of investments in fixed assets of the region. Filimonov thanked the management of NEC for its readiness to create new growth points and increase the investment attractiveness of the territory.

Specialists of NARTIS Plant LLC took part in the development of the project. The investment project is planned to be implemented in 2026 - 2028. The production will produce electronic printed circuit boards for equipment and components of electricity, water and gas metering devices.

The plant's products are intended for enterprises in the Russian energy industry. Printed circuit boards are used in measuring systems and control devices of public utilities. Production facilities are focused on the domestic market.[1]
