2020: The cofounder of Qiwi Sergey Solonin became the only owner of Obed-bufet network
On March 17, 2020 it became known that the cofounder of Qiwi Sergey Solonin became the only owner of Obed-bufet network which was initially developed Ginza Project holding and the restaurateur Alexey Vasilchuk (develops to Chaykhon No. 1).
That 100% of network of Obed-bufet restaurants passed to Sergey Solonin, the Kommersant newspaper with reference to a source from among consultants in the real estate market and one of restaurateurs wrote. Sergey Solonin's press secretary told the Inc. edition that the entrepreneur really became the only owner of Obed Bufet network. According to her, the transaction took place in July, 2019.
It is one more asset of Sergey in the market of public catering. He already owns shares in group of restaurants 354 (Ruski and Birds), Ramenskoye confectionery plant and also invests in foodtech-projects. Purchase "Obed Bufet' is caused by logical expansion of a project portfolio — she added. |
According to Kommersant, Sergey Solonin in the future integrates network as the operator for one or several projects where it is an investor. Other source of the newspaper said that Solonin to the middle of March, 2020 looks for the managing director of network.
By this time the Lunch buffet network contains three points: two in Moscow (on the New Arbat and in "Moscow City" of one thousand m ²) and one in St. Petersburg.
