2025: Interior Ministry announces embezzlement scheme for ₽1,4 billion board members

In mid-January 2025, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the disclosure of a scheme to steal ₽1,4 billion from M2M Pryvet Bank, which was attended by former chairman of the board of directors Andrei Vdovin, as well as board members Andrei Novikov and Inna Ivanova. Read more here

2024: Bank "Trust" received ownership of 100% M2M Pryvet Bank

In September 2024, Trust Bank became the main creditor of the M2M Pryvet Bank going through the bankruptcy stage, having received 100% of the credit institution ownership. This is evidenced by the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.

There was a replacement of the main creditor in the register of creditors' claims M2M Pryvet Bank with Trust Bank, which also led to a change in the composition of the creditors' committee M2M Pryvet Bank. The decision was made by the Bank of Russia to continue working with the problematic assets of banks undergoing financial recovery, the DIA explained.

2016: License Revocation

In December 2016, the Bank of Russia revoked licenses from four Moscow banks - Vega Bank, the Russian Financial Alliance, the International Development Bank and Pryvet Bank. According to the regulator, all financial organizations have repeatedly violated the law. Pryvet Bank did not ensure the timely fulfillment of obligations to creditors.
