On the second floor there are office space, a business room and a security corridor with access to teletraps. The third floor is reserved for catering establishments and retail outlets.
The terminal was built using energy efficient technologies that minimize heating costs in winter. Architectural solutions and interiors used motifs of the nature of the region, including luminous figures of killer whales on the ceiling and a guitar on the ground floor, symbolizing the name of Vladimir Vysotsky.
Construction the object was conducted on behalf of the President. In Russia Vladimir Putin May 2020, 100% of the shares of Magadan Airport OJSC were transferred to the region to modernize the air hub and increase the transport accessibility of the territory.
