History

2019: Consolidation with BPO "Progress"

The Avtomatika concern announced on July 5, 2019 creation of highly effective production of civil industrial electronics and telecommunication equipment during accession of JSC UZM Magnetron to JSC BPO Progress. Production capacities of both enterprises are already placed on the plant site Magnetron on Kirovogradskaya St. in Ufa.

Legally process of reorganization is going to be completed at the end of 2019. Consolidation will allow to increase technology competence and operational efficiency.

This decision was earlier made by Avtomatika Concern of State Corporation Rostec where these enterprises enter. The release of special purpose means of communication for needs of security agencies was the main specialization of the enterprises.

In spite of the fact that the plant "to BPO "Progress" is more than 75 years old, it follows all technology trends of the modern industry of electronics. So, the modern automated line of surface mount of components for release of serial products is already put into operation, technology processes change and improved, business processes for the purpose of performance improvement of work and growth of level of customer focus are reviewed, – the CEO of BPO "Progress" Marat Timirov reported.

Special attention at this stage is paid to training of employees within implementation of the national project "Labor Productivity and Support of Employment" and also to stimulation of personnel. So, the average salary increased by 27% in the last two years at simultaneous performance improvement of work.

The enterprises have the general history. Activity of UZM "Magnetron" began in 1982 when the workshop of microelectronics based on Progress Production association was created. Later the workshop was reorganized into UZM "Magnetron", in 2009 completely left the structure of production association.

2018: Start of production of civil electronics and telecom equipment

In 2018 active work of production of civil industrial electronics and telecommunication equipment and also significant upgrade of the existing special means of communication for the benefit of the state customers began. Production of civil appointment in 2018 increased almost by 10 times in comparison with 2016. In 2018 the enterprise came to profitable indicators.

2012: Conversion to JSC UZM Magnetron

In February, 2012 Federal State Unitary Enterprise UZM Magnetron is transformed to JSC UZM Magnetron. For preserving and development of research and production and technology potential of development and production of systems and means of the cryptographic equipment, special purpose information telecommunication systems for the benefit of defense capability, security and social and economic development, under the Decree of the Russian President of 10/16/2010 No. 1261, the Ufa plant of microelectronics Magnetron is included into JSC Concern Avtomatika.
