Mamison is a year-round ski tourist and recreational complex, which is located at an altitude of 2.9 thousand meters in the Alagir region.
History
2025: Resort construction for ₽19 billion
The volume of investments in the construction of the all-season tourist and recreational complex "Mamison" in North Ossetia reached ₽19 billion, of which more than ₽10 billion were attracted from private sources. The first stage of the resort will be opened on February 28, 2025, the government of the republic said on February 19, 2025.
According to Interfax, the head of the republic, Sergei Menyailo, announced the completion of test tests of the facilities of the first stage of the resort. The development of the complex will continue until 2030.
As part of the first stage of the Mamison resort, two cable cars and 17 kilometers of ski slopes will be commissioned. To accommodate tourists, hotel complexes and temporary residential modules are provided. In addition, the construction of a panoramic restaurant is underway, the government of North Ossetia said.
The project is being implemented on the territory of the special economic zone of the tourist and recreational type "Mamison." The anchor investor was a native of North Ossetia, businessman Vladimir Guriev.
The head of the republic noted the presence of potential investors and residents who are ready to invest in the implementation of the second stage of the project. Currently, projects and financial schemes for further development are being worked out together with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
The concept of the resort provides for the creation of a world-class ski complex. The development of not only ski and tourist infrastructure is planned on the territory, but also the organization of sanatorium-resort treatment using local mineral waters.
The opening of Mamison will be an important stage in the development of the tourist potential of North Ossetia. The creation of a modern all-season resort will increase the tourist flow to the region and create new jobs, the authorities of North Ossetia expect.[1]
