2025: Construction of a plant in the Moscow region

The Belarusian company Mark Formelle has completed the construction of a production complex in the Uspensky technopark in the Moscow region. The company announced this on February 12, 2025.

The launch of the enterprise will allow the production of more than 20 million pairs of hosiery products per year. The company noted that the expansion of production is associated with growing demand for products and a strategy to strengthen its position in the Russian market.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the monthly production of hosiery products from polyamide in the country ranges from 3.3 million to 5.6 million pairs, with peak values ​ ​ in the period from February to April.

In January 2025, the owners of Mark Formelle, spouses Svetlana Siparova and Andrei Serikov, registered on a parity basis a new company, Mark Formel Tex LLC. A significant part of the production equipment has already been installed at the enterprise.

Sergei Tonkov, co-founder of St.Friday Socks, notes that Belarus is the leader in the supply of hosiery products to the Russian market, especially in the categories of thin polyamide tights and socks.

Baon President Ilya Yaroshenko points to high competition in the Russian hosiery market, where several large Belarusian manufacturers have already been represented, including the Slavyanka garment factory. Imports from China and Turkey hold a significant market share.

One Story partner Olga Sumishevskaya emphasizes that the localization of production will allow the company to gain additional advantages: reduce logistics costs, ensure stable production and quickly respond to changes in demand.[1]
