2007: Nikolay Fomenko creates the company
The actor and the showman Nikolay Fomenko created Marussia Motors company in 2007.
2008: Presentation of the first B1 Marussia car
In December, 2008 in Moscow the presentation of the first B1 Marussia car, a bit later - B2 took place. This model through the Finnish engineering firm Valmet Automotive was going to be brought to small-lot production and to advance actively in the western markets.
In 2009 the company had own command in Formula 1.
In May, 2010 in Moscow the concept of the Marussia F2 crossover was provided.
2014
Stop of works on all projects
On April 7, 2014 the developer and the producer of "the first Russian supercar" - Marussia Motors - stopped works on all the projects. Announced three former employees of the company this RBC. The last engineers were dismissed last week, they tell[1].
"The concept developed by the Marussia command was impractical, it is impossible to realize it in a series", - says one of former employees.
Production is also closed, the liquidating command sells assets, one of the former managers of Marussia claims. According to one of interlocutors of RBC, private investors invested about 100 million euros in the project.
Staff of Marussia Engineering tries to get paid through prosecutor's office
In June, 2014 it became known that Marussia Engineering owed to former employees about 19 million rubles. To receive money, they appealed to the prosecutor's office which checked the company and took legal action upon the detected violations.
The Tver interdistrict prosecutor's office of Moscow initiated proceedings about administrative offense according to Article 5.27 of the Administrative Code of Russia (violation of the law about work and about labor protection) against Marussia Engineering LLC. The company owed to 115 employees more than 19 million rubles since the beginning of year, data on the website of the Moscow prosecutor's office demonstrate. It is about administrative offense. Materials are directed to State Labour Inspection in Moscow, it is told on the website of prosecutor's office. Also the prosecutor's office transferred check materials to Territorial investigative Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia across Moscow for the solution of a question of criminal case.
The prosecutor showed in court of 17 statements for debt collection on the salary for the amount more than 2 million rubles. Initial hearings according to these statements took place on June 9, 2014 in Tverskoy district court, the main trial dates are set for June 25, told one of former employees of Marusya. The company ceased to pay salaries to all employees since February, told RBC two former employees of the company. Before closing of the company everyone did not receive on average about 100 thousand rubles.
Marussia Engineering was created specially under the project of the government Train cars. In February, 2014 the government announced that it will select to Minpromtorg 3.6 billion rubles for creation of the car for the top officials of the state within the Train project. This money was going to be distributed in 2014 — 2016. Developers of the project officials selected Marusya and Federal State Unitary Enterprise NAMI.
Since April 16, 2014 the partner of NAMI is in a liquidation status, data of the USRLE demonstrate. It is necessary for the subsequent simplified insolvency proceeding of the liquidated debtor, the leading lawyer of lawyer bureau "Yurlov and Partners" Andrey Kuzmin says. According to him, such scheme is used sometimes by persons which want "be cleaned" from debts with the smallest costs and effects. On data of the USRLE, a 100 percent founder of Marusya Engineering is Marusya Motors LLC. One of former employees told RBC that the company was officially liquidated on June 8[2].
Employees can collect from the company wage arrears judicially the last three months prior to appeal to the court, Andrey Kuzmin reminds. The company can be also brought to the administrative responsibility under the Article 5.27 of the Administrative Code. For legal entities punishment will make from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles or administrative suspension of operations for a period of up to 90 days.

The credit of 60 million rubles for the showman Nikolay Fomenko is checked through FSB
On February 4, 2016 it became known that handwriting examination recognized authenticity of the signature of the showman Nikolay Fomenko on bank documents about receiving the credit by him in the amount of 60 million rubles on development of the Marusya sports car. However Fomenko said that while the credit was allegedly obtained, it was outside Russia. The court sent an inquiry for establishment of this fact to frontier service of FSB[3].
Bank representatives said in court that till February, 2015 Fomenko through the representative by proxy Pavel Gubin extinguished the credit, but then payments stopped. Taking into account the run percent the bank at first made the claim on 61 million rubles, but last summer increased a sum in dispute to 65.5 million rubles.
Nikolay Fomenko in court did not deny the fact that he signed the loan agreement. However said that did not wait for money and therefore did not make payments. Anton Kolesnikov, in turn, told in court that he signed the agreement guarantee according to the loan agreement, but reported that he "made it by force". He said that he did not sign a number of documents, for example the agreement on debt restructuring and additional documents to it. The similar position was stated also by Nikolay Fomenko's representatives.
On August 19, 2015 the court interrupted process and appointed handwriting examination, having taken specimen signatures from Fomenko and Kolesnikov. Examination took several months. The other day its results were announced. The research confirmed originality of signatures of Fomenko on a part of bank documents, namely on the supplementary agreement and the agreement on termination of the loan agreement and partial forgiveness of a credit debt. However the lawyer of the actor said that in dates when signatures were put down, her principal, Nikolay Fomenko, was abroad. She showed to court of a mark in its international passport. In this regard the judge Lyubov Vinogradova decided to send an inquiry to frontier service of FSB of Russia, having checked information on intersection by the showman of border in the disputed time.

In March, 2016 it became known that Nikolay Fomenko will have to pay several tens of millions of rubles borrowed at bank transferred Moscow 24 TV channel.
Tverskoy Court of the capital satisfied the claim of one of capital credit institutions. In 2011 the credit for development of the Marussia sports car for the guarantee of the co-owner of the automobile company Anton Kolesnikov was issued to Fomenko. Now both of them will have to return to bank about 65 million rubles. Court's decision becomes effective in April, 2016[4].
