Maykopbank
2021: License revocation
On April 2, 2021, the Bank of Russia revoked its license from Maykopbank (Republic of Adygea), which ranked 321st in the banking system in terms of assets. According to the supervision, more than half of Maykopbank's loan portfolio were problem loans, but the bank tried to hide its real financial situation by underestimating the reserves necessary for the formation of possible losses and overestimating the value of property. After the execution of the instructions on the further formation of reserves, there were grounds for measures to prevent the bankruptcy of Maykopbank.
Over the past 12 months, the Central Bank has repeatedly limited Maikopbank to attracting funds from depositors.
JSC Maykopbank is a regional bank specializing in servicing and lending to corporate clients, attracting deposits and placing funds on the interbank market. License of the Bank of Russia No. 1136.
