2025: Payments to the Center for the Treatment of Eye Diseases ₽20 million for disrupting the supply of medical equipment
The Arbitration Court of Primorsky Krai decided to recover ₽20 million from Med Inn LLC in favor of Primorsky Center for Eye Microsurgery LLC for non-fulfillment of the contract for the supply of medical equipment. The decision was published on March 5, 2025 in the case card on the official website of the court.
According to RBC, this amount includes ₽2,66 million prepayments made by the Center for Eye Microsurgery, as well as ₽17,65 million penalties accumulated over an almost two-year period of default. The case file does not indicate which medical equipment was not supplied by the supplier.
The court considered the financial relationship between the plaintiff and the defendant and recognized all the requirements of the medical institution as legitimate. At the same time, Med Inn retains the opportunity to challenge this decision in the appellate instance.
According to the List counterparty verification service, Med Inn LLC was registered in Vladivostok in July 2017. The CEO of the company is Alexey Nikonov. The main activity of the enterprise is the wholesale of pharmaceutical products. Additional activities include the production of textile fabrics and products, computers and peripheral equipment, as well as the production of communication equipment.
This trial is not an isolated case for Med Inn. The organization appears as a defendant in 15 completed and pending arbitration cases. Among the plaintiffs, in addition to Primorsky Center for Eye Microsurgery LLC, are Time Leasing, Doctor Kan, Medgarant and others.
The Primorsky Center for Eye Microsurgery is one of the leading ophthalmological institutions in the region, specializing in modern methods of diagnosing and treating diseases of the organs of vision. To ensure high quality medical services, the center needs to regularly update technical equipment, making timely delivery of medical equipment critical to its operation.[1]
