2025: Launch of production of digital transformer substations in Tyumen

In May 2025, it became known that the Megator company launched the production of digital transformer substations in Tyumen. The pilot project has already been successfully implemented, and in the near future the first smart installation will be delivered to the industrial enterprise of the Tyumen region.

According to the developers, a feature of the product is the implemented dispatching system, which provides the ability to remotely monitor the state of the substation and switch feeders and lines. This solution can significantly reduce operating costs and increase the reliability of power supply networks.

The production of electrical substations at the enterprise is carried out in three main areas: for industry, infrastructure facilities and development projects. Especially for construction companies, Megator designers and engineers have developed a new high-tech product - a bus duct.

In 2025, the company also presented another innovative development - a 35 kilovolt substation intended for the construction of a bridge across the Ob in the Surgut region. This is a product of increased complexity, consisting of 12 blocks and having an energy load on different voltage classes. Earlier, the company assembled substations of 10 units with a capacity of 10 kilovolts.

Megator's order portfolio includes projects for the Caucasus Tourism Cluster. Tyumen substations have already been installed at the resorts of Arkhyz and Mamison. These installations differ in that they are designed to meet specific requirements for high-altitude areas, including wind rose features and snow load.

The company has implemented projects for the construction of power grids and substations in Tyumen for various industrial facilities, including battery, plywood and pharmaceutical plants. Negotiations are already underway on the supply of equipment for the enterprise for deep processing of peas in the Ishim district.^[1]
