Metroelektrotrans municipal unitary enterprise of the city of Volgograd.

Assets

As a part of enterprise three trolleybus, two tram, one tram and trolleybus depot, plant on repair of the rolling stock. The structure of the enterprise includes seven services which provide its operational activity: services of power economy, way, movement, high-speed tram, ADP equipment, communication and automatic equipment, collecting of income, motor transport.

History

Every day trams and trolleybuses of Metroelektrotrans Municipal Unitary Enterprise transport about 400 thousand passengers. 13 tram and 14 trolleybus routes work in the city. Total length of tram routes - 131.7 km, trolleybus – 159 km.

For July 1, 2014 in Metroelektrotrans Municipal Unitary Enterprise of Volgograd there are 654 units of the passenger rolling stock, including: 330 trams and 324 trolleybuses. There are 33 special purpose pieces of equipment (26 trams and 7 trolleybuses).
