Middle Volga Gas Company SVGK

The Middle Volga Gas Company (SVGK) is a gas distribution company in Russia responsible for the development and operation of the gas economy in the Samara region. The company has a distributed branch structure of 10 branches and 9 specialized departments. IT infrastructure is involved in supporting all major production and business processes, including gas pipeline design and construction, accounting, etc.

History of the company

1943 - The Buguruslan-Kuibyshev gas pipeline with a total capacity of 220 million cubic meters per year was commissioned.

1945, June - the Kuibyshevgorgaz office was created (now the Samaragaz branch of the Middle Volga Gas Company). The construction of the gas network of the Kuibyshev (Samara region) has begun.

1948 - gasified the first 300 apartments on the street. Pervomaiskaya, Kuibyshev.

1965 - residents of seven cities of the Kuibyshev region use gas. The length of the networks is 907 kilometers. Gasified 178,260 apartments.

1966 - Kuibyshevoblgaz was created.

1973 - the method of repair and application services was introduced.

1974 - the first training ground was built.

1992 - there was an corporatization of gas distribution organizations (GRO) of the Samara region.

1997 - scattered GRO merged into the Middle Volga Gas Company.

On July 2, 1997, ZAO was registered, and since 15.04.1998, Middle Volga Gas Company LLC

2002

The company moved to implement the gasification program of the region at its own expense, thereby fulfilling the most important social mission.

2003

CAGC has begun to implement a program of returning budget funds previously spent on gasification of the region.

2004

• The third investment programme of the AGC has entered into force;
• serious technical re-equipment of the company has begun;
• SVGK became a member of the Russian Gas Society (RGO), uniting enterprises - the elite of the industry;
• the company offered a range of services for gasification and heat supply of industrial and residential facilities.

2005

• The Russian scientific and practical conference "Regional Policy in the Gas Industry" was held on the basis of the SVGK;
• celebrated the 60th anniversary of Samaragaz, the oldest division of the SVGK;
• the company became the main player in the heating services market in the Volga region.

2006

• The fourth CAGC investment programme for 4 years has entered into force;
• The company successfully promotes alternative types of heating to the regional heating services market (block-modular boiler houses, quart heating, GLO);
• the company offered the population a service for the technical operation of in-house gas equipment.

2007

• improved service for technical operation of in-house gas equipment
• The program of cooperation between SVGK and Samara University of Architecture and Construction began to operate, for the first time a competition of student projects of gas supply systems was held

2008

• for the first time in the history of the company, half a billion rubles were invested in current and overhaul, as well as reconstruction of gas facilities
• The company has begun to carry out design and survey work on the construction of the third commissioning from GRS-17
• boiler house of Maximov social shelter repaired as charitable assistance
• SVGK training center received a license from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Samara region
• The project "Theater-village" was launched to organize SVGK trips with performances to small towns and rural areas of the Samara region of the SamArt Theater.

2009

• Work began on the creation of the Central Emergency Dispatch Service (TsADS) of the Samaragaz branch, which will receive information on the state of the gas distribution system in Samara and most of the Samara province

• In the final year of the 4th investment program of the SVGK, a number of new facilities were commissioned: with. Taidakovo Shigonsky district, with. Natalyino Bezenchuksky district, with. Bolshaya Konstantinovka Koshkinsky district, with. Filippovka Kinelsky district, etc.

• For the first time in the history of the company, a bicycle marathon started from the village of Shiryaevo, which the SVGK employees dedicated to the Day of Russia

2010

• On January 1, the new, fifth investment program of the SVGK, designed for 5 years, entered into force.
