2024: "Resource" became the owner of 90% of the Millerovsky elevator

LLC Rostov Grain Company Resource acquired over 90% of the shares of PJSC Millerovsky Elevator, located in the Rostov Region. This was reported in September 2024 on the corporate information disclosure portal. The transaction was completed amid the active growth of interest in elevator capacity in the region.

According to RBC, earlier from 2021, the elevator was owned by the Grainrus Agro-Industrial Holding through its subsidiary Grainrus Trade LLC. The acquisition of the elevator made it possible for Grainrus to establish operational supplies of raw materials for producers of starch-containing products and vegetable oils, as well as reach leading exporters.

The Millerian elevator is an important site for the agricultural sector of the region. In 2023, the company processed and accepted 79.5 thousand tons of products for storage, of which 65.7 thousand tons were wheat and sunflower. Among the major partners of the elevator at that time were such companies as Aston JSC and enterprises of the Grainrus group. In 2024, it was planned to increase the transshipment volume to 120 thousand tons.

According to the publication, before the conclusion of the transaction, the authorized capital of the elevator was quadrupled, which became a preparatory stage for its further development. The new owner, the Rostov Grain Company Resource, plans to use the elevator's capacity to increase the efficiency of storage and logistics of grain crops, as well as to strengthen its position in the agricultural market in Russia.

Millerovsky elevator is the main enterprise for the storage and processing of agricultural products in the Rostov region, and its acquisition by Resurs can have a positive impact on the entire grain industry in the region.[1]
