2012: Activities of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Stavropol Territory

Since July 2012, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Stavropol Territory has been an executive body of the Stavropol Territory, carrying out public administration and regulatory regulation in the field of environmental protection, radiation safety, atmospheric air protection, subsoil use, organization and functioning of specially protected natural areas of regional significance, protection of resorts, health-improving areas and natural medicinal resources of regional significance, forest relations, water relations on the territory of the Stavropol Territory, safety of hydraulic structures, maintenance of reclamation protective forest plantations on land plots from agricultural land or on land plots, intended for the production of agricultural products owned by the Stavropol Territory, and the implementation of measures to preserve them, as well as certain powers of the Russian Federation in the field of forest relations, water relations, wildlife protection and use, hunting and conservation of hunting resources, Environmental Expertise Submitted to the State Authorities of the Stavropol Territory^[1].

2004: Education of the Ministry

The Ministry was formed by Decree of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory of December 23, 2004 No. 764 in order to improve public administration in the field of nature management and environmental protection.
