The Ministry of Property Relations and Architecture of the Ulyanovsk Region is the executive body of state power of the Ulyanovsk Region, exercising on behalf of the Ulyanovsk Region the powers of the owner to manage and dispose of property owned by the Ulyanovsk Region, manage and dispose of other property in cases established by law, and also carry out state management in the Ulyanovsk Region in areas of urban planning.

History

2025: Changing the name and getting the digital development function of the region

From September 1, 2025, it is planned to rename the Ministry of Property Relations and Architecture of the Ulyanovsk Region to the Ministry of Property Relations, Urban Planning and Digital Development. This is stated in the draft decree of the governor of the region in July 2025. The Ministry is transferred the functions of implementing the digital development of the region, communications and information and telecommunication technologies, organizing and ensuring the conditions for the provision of state and municipal services.[1]

2022: Abolition of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the Ulyanovsk Region

From April 1, 2022, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the Ulyanovsk Region was abolished (Decree of the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region dated February 7, 2022 No. 12[2]). The successor of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the Ulyanovsk Region in terms of rights and obligations related to the management and disposal of land resources, as well as in the field of urban planning, is the created Ministry of Property Relations and Architecture of the Ulyanovsk Region.

The Ministry of Property Relations and Architecture of the Ulyanovsk Region is also the legal successor Ministries of Economic Development and Industry of the Ulyanovsk Region in terms of rights and obligations related to the management and disposal of property state owned by the Ulyanovsk Region, management and disposal of other property in cases established by the legislation[3]
