Ministry of Forestry of the Tver Region

As of 2021 the main objectives of the Ministry forest hozyaystvatversky area are:

• organizing a unified policy for the development of the forest complex in the Tver region;
• coordination of the activities of the executive bodies of state power of the Tver region and local self-government of municipalities of the Tver region, public organizations and economic entities in the field of forest development in the Tver region;
• ensuring multi-purpose, rational, continuous, sustainable use of forests in order to meet the need of society for forests and forest resources in the Tver region;
• organization of effective management of forest resources in the territory of the Tver region;
• prevention, detection and suppression of forest-related offences;
• Information support for decision-making by state authorities of the Tver region regarding the use of forest resources.
