B Kazakhstan of police officers will be equipped with POS terminals for cashless payment of penalties

In June, 2020 it became known of what to the Kazakhstan police officers will be issued by POS terminals for cashless payment of penalties.    During the reporting meeting with the population the Minister of Internal Affairs Erlan Turgumbayev reported about it.

Staff of patrol force is equipped with electronic tablets and  terminals for cashless payment of penalties. It reduces time of drawing up protocols  and also allows  to pay penalties on site — he said.

The minister also told that in the Kazakhstan drivers shortly it will not be necessary to have at itself several documents. Will be to show the identity certificate enough, other data will be checked by police  using tablets.

The reduced production order is provided in the Code of Administrative Offences. If the offender agrees with a being of offense, does not dispute, then in this case the inspector the administrative report is formed and the offender is given the receipt of the set sample.

In case of payment of a penalty within seven days, its size is cut by half so thanks to terminals at police officers citizens will be able to pay penalties at once at a discount. At payment of penalties in such a way it is optional to provide the receipt in bodies of police.

Acceptance of payment of a penalty by a payment card of the third party is forbidden. So the violator can use service only using the personal bank card. Otherwise the inspector will refuse carrying out transaction.

At payment of a penalty on the mobile POS terminal two checks for which the driver undersigns are printed: one remains on hands at the violator, and the second is hemmed to the administrative report. It is noted that implementation of terminals will allow to simplify payment procedure of penalties and to lower a corruption component.^[1]

District police officers in Kazakhstan equip with video counters for control of their work

At the beginning of June, 2020 it became known of what to local police officers in Kazakhstan will be issued by video counters for control of their real-time operation.

As the head of the department of police of Alma-Ata reported the Rope Taymerdenov, it is about video recorders of new generation.

Their  advantage  is that when the logger is switched on, in  the online mode we  will see everything that occurs around, than the inspector as he  behaves is busy. Such remote control will discipline staff. Also it is safety of our employees  — he told.

Taymerdenov noted that local police inspectors should have these video counters always included. Earlier such equipment was issued to patrol force.^[2]

The employee of road patrol force of Kazakhstan cannot include or switch off the device – it becomes far off. When the police officer takes up service, the device on which record is included is issued to him. Estimated time of record makes from 8 to 24 hours.

When the employee downloads change, hands over "video counter". The device is put on the charger, and all written information automatically goes to a remote server. There already other services analyze video.

For citizens video fixing is good the fact that it helps to solve disputed issues or to dispute wrongful acts from the staff of DPP. If the citizen does not agree with actions of the employee - can write the complaint. Right there archive videos rise, and actions of the police officer are given a legal treatment.
