The Ministry of Nature Management of the Ryazan Region is the central executive body of state power of the Ryazan Region of special competence, carrying out executive and administrative activities in the territory of the Ryazan region in the field of nature management and environmental protection, in the field of forest relations, carrying out state policy, carrying out inter-sectoral management and coordinating activities in these areas of other central and territorial executive bodies of state power of the Ryazan region, state institutions of the Ryazan region, as well as a specially authorized state body for protection, federal state supervision and regulation of the use of wildlife and their habitat in the Ryazan region, authorized executive body of state power of the Ryazan region in the field of hunting and conservation of hunting resources, including in terms of exercising the powers of the Russian Federation transferred to the state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, an authorized body in the field of regulation of subsoil use relations in the Ryazan region and an authorized body in the field of creation, protection and use of specially protected natural areas of regional significance[1].

History

2020: Main activity

As of December 2020, the main activity of the ministry is the organization and coordination of the development of regional environmental programs, the development of regulatory documents to improve the state of the natural environment.

2016: Renaming to the Ministry of Nature Management of the Ryazan Region

By Decree of the Government of the Ryazan Region of September 19, 2016 No. 212[2] in order to increase the efficiency of the system and structure of organization of the executive power of the Ryazan Region, the Ministry of Forestry of the Ryazan Region was renamed the Ministry of Nature Management of the Ryazan Region and reorganized by joining the Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology of the Ryazan Region.
